World Cup 2010: 10 potential Premier League buys

World Cups give Premier League managers the opportunity to expand their horizons and discover players who may have eluded their intensive scouting systems; here are 10 that may have caught the eye of the Premier League.Bewertungen und Erfahrungsberichte zu den seri?sesten Onlineshops im Bereich replica uhren.

The World Cup hasn’t even finished but already, scrolling yellow tickers along our television screens inform us of Wesley Sneijder’s transfer intentions and how Manchester City want to You had better not to show off your expensive tag heuer formula 1 replica watches in public places, because it is likely to give rise to robber’s attention.sign Robinho, without realising they already have him.

But It is necessary for you to choose the REPLICA BREITLING watches that are most suitable to your personality.that’s no fun, is it? A good World Cup showing from the likes of Sneijder, Xavi and Villa simply reaffirm what we already knew, and simply raise their pricetags to astronomical and unaffordable heights.

For managers looking for a bargain, the World Cup can be like a cattle market. 736 players on show, with over 500 of them unpronounceable to Mick McCarthy. It is these players who are the true stars of the tournament; and it is these players who managers will gamble on to inject that bit of pace, tenacity or goalscoring prowess ahead of the new season.

Here are the top 10 Premier League managers may want to take a look at; but as the old proverb goes: Are you interested in buying watch replica, if you want, we can offer you more detailed information.don’t forget Phil Babb.

Name: Anthony Annan (Ghana)
Club: Rosenborg
Age: 23

Michael Essien’s injury appeared to herald Ghana’s elimination before the World Cup even begun; but unbeknown to the world, the West Africans had a ready-made replacement in the squad. At 23-years-old, Rosenborg central midfielder Anthony Annan belies his age with his intelligence both on and off the ball.

His passing ranges from the economical to the excellent, although he can’t be regarded as a considerable goal threat with only one international goal in 41 appearances. Time is on his side though and he can still develop both physically and mentally. Annan could be a frightening prospect in a few years time, more than suited to the physicality of the Premier League.

Baby Clothing Choices Cater to All Flavours

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 1:18 am

From preemies to bamboo, baby clothing has it all

baby-clothing

There has never been a more fashionable time to buy baby clothing than the current era that we live in. Whether one is consumed with finding the most ecologically sensitive baby clothing for one’s own new arrival or apparel gifts for family members or friends, the choices are endless when it comes to new materials for baby clothing and accessories. As the boon in organic products grow around the world, baby clothing has certainly not been left behind and the new selections for these lines grow everyday.

As concerns grow around the world with regards to the effects toxins have on our bodies and ourselves, perhaps no age group and clothing around has come under more scrutiny than baby clothing. With the list of new materials to avoid increasing when it comes to toys and processed foods, it is not surprising that attention has turned to baby clothing. Fortunately, more baby clothing designers are catering to this need and are taking the concerns of parents worldwide seriously.

A quick glance online indicates prospective parents have an embarrassing selection of baby clothing articles and accessories to choose from, including reversible pouch slings, bisphenol A-free cups and bottles, organic clothing, non-toxic teethers and bonding dolls. Further along in the trendy department are baby clothing items such as kimono and baby wraps made by Westcoast Baby. As babies grow older and in size, specialized baby clothing lines focus on specific areas of infant development. Crawlies encourages infants to start moving by crawling with baby clothing apparel that makes time spent on tummies, hands and knees more comfortable. Meanwhile, preemie baby clothing has a home on the net too in the form of Itty Bitty Baby, which sells take-me-home layettes, sleepers, caps, dresses, denim, polos and cocoon car seat bags.

As ordering baby clothing online for gifts increases in popularity around the world, companies like Tricky & Titch are reaching out by making “cute, not cutesie” clothes such as shirts, onesies, bibs, hats, blankets and playsuits. Other areas baby clothing retailers are paying attention to are baby shoes, swim diapers, raincoats, baby rompers, hats and velboa blankets. One unique baby clothing material designers are using for their apparel is bamboo. Bamboo has anti-bacterial properties. When it is transformed into fabric for baby clothing, it is soft and comparable to cashmere and silk. It also absorbs almost twice as much moisture as cotton, keeping baby clothing drier. Bamboo baby clothing is shiny and protects against UV rays.

In addition, bamboo is grown without fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides or genetically modified organisms, which cotton tends to use. Bamboo also absorbs almost five times the volume of greenhouses gases and produces about 35% more oxygen than trees. Best of all, bamboo is the fastest-growing plant on the planet, requires no irrigation and is completely biodegradable. Sprout manufactures baby clothing that is blend of 70% bamboo and 30% cotton.

Whether you are looking for quality at a great price or feel compelled to minimize your little one’s environmental impact, there is a whole world out there to explore and consider when it comes to baby clothing.

Day for the Loving One – Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day was proposed by Ann Jarvis whose purpose was “to reunite families that had been divided during the Civil War (of America)” in 19th century. But before the celebration of Mother’s Day became popular, she died in May 5th, 1905. Her daughter, Anna Marie Jarvis continued her effort and established the Mother’s Day following the death date of Ann Jarvis. In 1914, it was passed by the US Congress as a national holiday, and the second Sunday of May was designated as Mother’s Day.

Now, Mother’s Day is not only celebrated in the US, but also accepted by many countries all over the world. Although some countries have their own Mother’s Day, the second Sunday of May is the most popular one. People usually prepare Mother’s Day gifts for their beloved mom in May.

In 1908, Anna Jarvis delivered 500 carnations for the first celebration of Mother’s Day. She chose it because carnation was the favorite flower of her mother, Ann Jarvis. Since then on, people have started to use carnations on Mother’s Day as a custom.

Mother’s Day of 2010 is on May 9th; don’t forget to send some small gifts or flowers to the woman who loves you most.

Rachel Zoe dies in Harper’s Bazaar

Rachel Zoe fans won’t need reminding of her signature “I die” slogan, and it seems the people at Harper’s Bazaar don’t, either. In fact, they came up with the rather genius idea of shooting her dying in the new September issue alongside a few of America’s favourite designers.

So what would happen if Rachel Zoe really did die for fashion? Well, that depends on who you ask.

Franciso Costa would strangle her, Marc Jacobs would electrocute her – “Rachel’s energy is electrifying… and often shocking!” he says – Vera Wang would poison her (well, she does design poison rings), Brian Atwood would stab her – “Death by stiletto? I can’t imagine a better way to go,” he explains – and Michael Kors would, er, bury her under handbags – “The perfect accessory can make the difference between looking blah and totally to die for,” apparently.

Naturally, Rachel wears all the above designers and more in the spread, which was shot by Douglas Friedman for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar US. A rather timely feature, we think you’ll agree, seeing as The Rachel Zoe Project has just started to reappear on our screens and what not.

We do love a fun fashion editorial. Be sure to check out all the snaps here – there’s a behind-the-scenes video, too.

Now Booking | Diane Von Furstenberg for Claridge’s

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:02 am

DESCRIPTIONCourtesy of Claridge’s

In 1983, Diane Von Furstenberg sold her cosmetics business, flew to London and promptly ensconced herself at Claridge’s. “I felt I had made it,” she said recently at a cocktail party. “I was young and kicky.” Older now but kicky as ever, she’s designing 20 rooms for the hotel, bringing her unapologetically exuberant style to an Art Deco landmark. The three rooms completed so far — the others, each unique, will be done by the end of the year — include headboards blooming with Chinese roses and floors covered in silk leopard-print rugs, along with finishing touches like custom-made cashmere blankets and zebra-print bathrobes. Amid all the floral and jungle textiles, she’s also created quiet corners where guests can primp surrounded by handmade dressing tables and leather traveling trunks.

“I wish the walls of these suites could talk,” Von Furstenberg said. “So many fabulous people, so many romances have happened here. Every guest should have an affair at Claridge’s.” Indeed, the hotel has a history of harboring the jet set, from European royalty to Kate Moss. It also has a record of enlisting prominent stylists, including C.W. Stephens, the fin de siècle architect who built Harrods; the Art Deco pioneer Basil Ionides; and, more recently, the furniture designer David Linley. For Von Furstenberg, the project marks a sort of homecoming, a combination of her life as both fashion mogul and pampered European princess. “Claridge’s,” purred the the designer, who divorced the late Prince Egon Von Furstenberg more than 35 years ago, “is the only place where they still call me ‘Your Highness.’”

Vain Glorious | Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:01 am

DESCRIPTION

Who: Chaz Dean

What: Wen Cleansing Conditioner

Where: chazdean.com

Why Bother: For those who are constantly trying to pare down the products they don’t need — and who want eco-friendly options for those that they do — Chaz Dean has created a new substitute for shampoo and conditioner. At first I was skeptical of buying anything sold through an infomercial, but Dean has been perfecting this formula since he became a hairstylist many years ago (on the set of “90210,” no less). His objective was to create a conditioning shampoo that wouldn’t contain sodium laurel sulfate, which is damaging both to your hair and to our water supply. Using this two-in-one product results in one less plastic bottle as well.

How It Works: Lather a few pumps of cleansing conditioner into wet hair, leave for three to five minutes while you lather other things, and rinse thoroughly. I tested the conditioning cleanser for a month, and it worked as well as any shampoo/conditioner combination. My hair felt clean and soft and fuller than before.

How Much: $28

Get the look: Neve Campbell in Moschino

Stars gathered at Hampton Court last weekend, for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation party. Attendees came together to show their support and raise money for the foundation, which is committed to the control and elimination of childhood cancer.

Among those in attendance at the gala were: committee member Hugh Grant, designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox, models Yasmin Le Bon and Lara Stone, and actresses Vanessa Redgrave, Joely Richardson and Angelica Huston.

Scream star Neve Campbell also made an appearance, looking gorgeous in a long-sleeved mini dress from Moschino’s forthcoming AW2010 collection. Showing off those enviable pins and sporting a new, heavy fringe, Campbell looked groomed to perfection in the gold-trimmed number and statement gold cuff.

We quite fancy recreating this simple yet stylish look ourselves, although since we don’t have the patience to wait for Moschino’s next collection, we’ve come up with a few suitable alternatives that will help to achieve a similar look…

Lunchtime buy: Diane Von Furstenberg Carrie Hill beaded dress

Thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg and Matches.com, BA fashion print student at Central St. Martins, Carrie Hill, won the opportunity to create a new look inspired by DVF’s spring 2010 collection.

And the result? This stunning green and yellow print maxi dress, which also comes in a shorter version.

‘My inspiration for the dress came from African animal prints and flowers, which tied in well with the spring/summer 2010 DVF collection,’ Hill told Marie Claire.

With billowing flutter sleeves and a draped front as well as flickers of beaded embellishment, this design oozes comfort and glamour. Echoing the look of the DVF wrap dress, this Carrie Hill number fits right in alongside the rest of the sophisticated spring/summer 2010 collection.

£732 / $1,185.84 from Matches.

House of Fraser press day AW2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:41 am

For autumn/winter 2010, major department store House of Fraser presented their clothes and accessories in different trend-led categories, mixing the labels to give a clearer vision of the kind of image we can expect from the store next season.

The ‘Twilight’ category – whilst appropriately acknowledging the popular teen phenomenon -showed off a gothic approach that will cater for the younger market but also featured some wearable separates that will appeal to many a buyer. Revealing a mainly dark palette, key pieces included a black lace halter-neck dress (reminiscent of Prada, fall 2008) from Pied a Terre and cobweb style pullovers from the store’s new house brand, Label Lab. Throw biker jackets and a particularly lovely bag from Ted Baker and you’ve got a strong, laid-back collection of differing textures to create that romantic, vampy look.

As we perused the ‘Wild Things’ rack we noticed a distinct nod to Topshop’s brilliant autumn/winter 2010 catwalk, with heavy neutral knits, faux fur and a gorgeous shearling waterfall coat from Therapy. Fluid lines were broken up with a selection of skinny jeans from Linea Weekend and J Brand.

Clothing on the ‘Pantomime’ and ‘Vamp’ rails focussed on polished glamour and party-inspired pieces, achieving a more demure and grown up look. Linea’s navy blue shift and Episode’s vibrant red dress, suggest that velvet will be a continuing trend for next season while exquisite statement jewellery from the likes of Erickson Beamon, Mawi and newcomer Fiona Paxton, prove that bolder is better.

The ‘Utility’ section offered perhaps our favourite selection of clothes; most notably a heavy duty trench and a jumpsuit, both from Label Lab. There’s plenty of leather on show too. Not only in the shape of biker jackets and Burberry-style aviator coats but more sophisticated silhouettes. Linea have produced a leather skirt and Pied a Terre, a gorgeous knee-length, dress in the softest camel-coloured leather.

Handbags were also a highlight throughout, with Patrick Cox’s metallic gold shoulder bag being a particular standout whilst the Michael Michael Kors piece offered a luxurious, slouchy studded number for everyday use. Love Moschino’s chain strap bags hinted more than a little towards Chanel and Lulu Guinness (which House of Fraser also stocks), with its embroidered front being instantly comparable to Lulu Guinness’ shop-front handbags.
